"Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations, produced by enthusiastic effort and infinite labor in every country of the world. All this is put into your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it, honor it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it to your children. Thus do we mortals achieve immortality in the permanent things which we create in common." - Albert Einstein

Happy Mother's Day

Some of the teachers in our children's classrooms are likewise parents. Most teachers in basic education are female and most are also mothers. All teachers serve as second parents to our children when they are in school. I would like to wish all the readers of this blog out there who serve as mothers a Happy Mother's Day. It is a day on which we pause to show our gratitude for all the sacrifice you make for the children of this world.

And here is for my better half.
